Platinum
Platinum care need not be as expensive as the metal itself! Here are some useful how-tos!

Platinum is one of the rarest and most precious metals in the earth and hence all platinum jewelry is also the most expensive. At E.S. Designs all of our platinum jewelry is of the highest standards and every jewelry piece has a unique sheen and luster to it. Our Platinum jewelry finds its place mostly amongst bridal wedding rings as the metal brings out a diamond’s luster very well.

The strongest metal

Platinum is one of the strongest metals on the earth. Unlike other metals which chip and corrode upon wear and tear Platinum is able to withstand even major scratches. No part of the metal is lost easily. At E.S. Designs we make sure that we use this durable metal to secure diamonds and other precious stones.

How to get back the shine?

Just like all metals Platinum too loses its shine and luster after prolonged use. It usually develops a faded patina on its surface. Many people actually like this patina and refuse to get the jewelry polished. However, if you prefer the shine you can buff your platinum jewelry using soft cloth.

How to clean it?

You can effectively clean your platinum jewelry by simply soaking them in lukewarm soap solution. Then you can scrub the crevices using an old toothbrush to reach those tiny corners. This is actually all you really need to maintain your platinum jewelry and bring back its shine.

Our high quality jewelry

All of our platinum jewelry pieces at E.S. Designs are made of 95% strength platinum. This is used in conjunction with 5% strength of indium. We also use ruthenium, palladium and other miscellaneous alloys. All of our jewelry bears the quality sign Plat or 950 Plat as a hallmark of high quality.
